Both Sirs Anning and Holcomb told Sir Spierling that special circumstances had caused them to miss six meetings during the past 12 months, that they wish to remain active Sirs, and that each would make a special effort to comply with the attendance requirements in the future. Sir Spierling asked for direction from the BEC. Following discussion, Little Sir Sweeney instructed Sir Spierling to inform Sirs Anning and Holcomb that their membership has been extended and will be closely monitored for attendance compliance. Sir Spierling reported that 15 Sirs had called, to date, that they would not be able to attend Thursday’s luncheon.

He requested that the approval be rescinded. Motion to rescind the trip approved.

RV: Sir Mike Eachus gave a short history of the formation of Branch 172 and the support that the Branch has had and continues to receive from the RV group. Each will be given a chance to continue to be an active Sir and improve his attendance.
